Located at the intersection of Potrero Avenue and Mariposa Street in San Francisco, the project provides an assisted care living environment for residents whose average age will be 84 years old. Upon completion, the facility will provide 9 studio rooms and 46 one-bedroom suites for 100 elderly residents above a below grade parking level.
Located within an industrial protection zone, the design attempts to reconcile the Planning Department’s required industrial asthetic with a residentially scaled facade.
